Welcome to our Edwardian Residence owned and managed by The Sims Family for over 55 years and comprising of: The Northern Hotel – an English Tourist Board 3 Star Small Hotel and our Richmond Retirement Suites.
The Retirement Accommodation is all located within the same building as the Hotel allowing our Retirement Residents to enjoy the same high quality services as the hotel guests. This is a unique enterprise providing a very high standard of accommodation and services to senior citizens.
Our Retirement Suites are like apartments but without a kitchen – you don’t need one because we do all the cooking, shopping and cleaning for you. If a Retirement Suite is a little too much for you we have large en-suite rooms that make delightful studio style accommodation.
In addition to your own private accommodation there are 3 charming lounges to enjoy: The Wellington Room Lounge Bar, the Hanoverian Library and the Residents Television Lounge
Service with a smile means a lot to us. You'll receive a warm, friendly welcome - everyday anew.
Whether you enjoy privacy or like to socialise, are independent or require extra help from outside carers, you can have it all as and when you need it.
Enjoy our home-cooked traditional cuisine in either of our two charming restaurants.
With the glorious seafront a stone-throw away and the town centre and shops around the corner there's always something to do and see.
